The Lagos Comic Con an extension of other Comic Cons all over the world happens brings the best of Comics,Movies, Gaming, Animation and other pop cultures in one. The event hopes to pack more fun and the very best of Nigerian comics, graphic novels, anime, manga, video games, toys, movies, and television to the public like never before.

Corrosion Management Course

Tricontinental Industrial Academy presents a 5 days course on the theory of corrosion and the practice of corrosion control. Their course focuses on corrosion and the potential problems caused by corrosion.

LIGHTS CAMERA AFRICA!!!

The fourth edition of the life House's lights camera, Africa!!! film festival 2014, is an opportunity for us to relax and recover some of our histories.With films like Oya, the Rise of the Orisha(2014), Africa's first superhero movie named for the yoruba warrior goddess and the supreme price(2014),a documentary on Nigeria's pro-democracy movement we want to encourage our audience to reconsider our past with new eyes. Curated around the theme LEGACY, Nigeria's only festival dedicated to independent African film boasts, this year alone, more than 30 movies from over 20 countries. They will all be screened at the Federal Palace Hotel, an establishment steeped in a history as old as independent Nigeria itself.

Lagos Veg Fest

Having gained popularity in several regions of the world over decades, the World Veg Fest makes its debut in Africa this year, with the main event in Ghana on October 1 - 6. Lagos is part of the official program and will be bringing together professionals, business thought leaders, advocates, and innovators in the health and lifestyle industries for this event. The 3 day event will start with Children's Day and their exhibition launch with lots of activities for kids. The second day will focus on health and wellness with a 5km walk and film screenings. The third day will be all about sustainable living with delicious food tastings, panel discussions, more film screenings and a high end Vegan dinner at Culinary Academy.

FASHION AND DANCE OVER DRUGS- THE POWER OF STYLE

Olaide's Youth Forum is proud to host her maiden annual episode on Fashion Runway Show . This year's event, consist of a cocktail and red carpet reception will feature contemporary dance presentations and stage drama centered on the theme of awareness creation on the ills of drug and substance abuse and it's adverse effect on youth and national growth will be followed closely by a fashion runway show which is poised to receive unprecedented press and media exposure and bring more goodwill to The Hang Out With Olaide's Youth Forum and her sponsorship partners.
