Forbes Africa Person of the Year 2014 Dangote, Chimamanda Adichie, Others Nominated


Nigerian billionaire, Aliko Dangote and writer, Chimamanda Adichie have been nominated for the award of Forbes Africa Person of the Year 2014. The winner will be “the individual who,
for better or worse, has had the most influence on business on the year gone by”, according to the Forbes Africa POY site. The Director-General of the Nigerian Securities and Exchange Commission, Arunma Oteh was also nominated. Other nominees are Thuli Madonsela, a South African who helped draft the country’s constitution in 1994 and was named one of Time’s 100 Most Influential People this year and Donald Kaberuka, a Rwandan economist and the president of the African Development Bank. This year's Forbes Africa Person Of The Year Awards will take place on the 4th of December 2014.
