Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea has not agreed terms with Real Madrid, according to Sky Sports News HQ reporter James Cooper.

Cooper was responding to a story which appeared in a Spanish newspaper on Friday, claiming that the United 'keeper is all set to return to his native Madrid on long-term deal, and has already met with Bernabeu officials.
However, Cooper told SSN: “His future is still up in the air. One thing I can clarify is that he hasn’t agreed terms with Real Madrid.
“The situation is clear that Manchester United do not want to entertain David de Gea leaving Old Trafford. He has 18 months left on his contract and is one of nine up next summer.
“They’ve made an offer to keep him at United. One thing that isn’t happening at the moment is negotiations with another club.

“Those things are not happening. Therefore, this story is not alive. As things stand, he is a Manchester United player.”
Reports had appeared earlier in a Spanish newspaper that De Gea has agreed personal terms to return to Spain’s capital city where the 24-year-old started his career with Atletico Madrid.
According to the Madrid-based newspaper, De Gea has agreed a contract worth £4m-a-year after tax and is believed to be between five and six years in length
